With a passion for the outdoors, Geneva can recommend a variety of activities for all different skill levels. In her spare time if you don't catch her outside you can find her reading a good book or making art.
Thirty-five years ago, Jean-François and his wife Sylvie arrived in Alberta from Montreal. With them they brought a suitcase each, and a passion for French cooking and the fine dining experience. After a few years in Edmonton, they found their real passion was in Canmore in the mountains, and Chez François was born with Jean-François as the head chef and Sylvie as the front-of-house manager. Now, the sole focus is on breakfast-making Jean-François and Sylvie excited about the new flexibility they have in their lives. With the new flexibility, it will leave more time to host private events and functions in the meeting room at the new location!
Chez François has been connected with the community of Canmore and its visitors for over 30 years. The family-owned restaurant is known for its breakfast, casual dining, and French flair. However, through the popularity of its breakfast menu, Chez Francois has decided to make breakfast their focal point. The new location at 1716 Bow Valley Trail centers a dining experience around all-day breakfast.
Chez François is proud to have been voted the #1 Breakfast Place in Canmore by TripAdvisor, the local newspaper: The Rocky Mountain Outlook, and locals alike. For those who have tasted the Eggs Benedict topped with homemade hollandaise, these compliments are no surprise.
The new location of Chez François provides guests with 180 degrees of mountain views from inside and on the gorgeous patio. The views showcase the Rundle Range, Ha Ling Peak, Lady MacDonald and Grotto Mountain. The new location offers plenty of windows, friendly staff, and delicious food to create the perfect stage for a delicious brunch with your friends and family.
